Good Times Resort Kanchanaburi

Everything about this resort is amazing. great location (walking distant to the kwai bridge) 711, lotus express also near by. The resort it self was amazing. Good sizes swiming pool, clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and amazing, helpfull staff. We specially love food at the restaurant, every dishes just tastes amazing. Prices are great, not expensive at all.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are big and comfy, the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is perfect to relax around, and the restaurant is cheap and tasty. The location is perfect - it's directly next to a beautiful river with lots of fish and regular boat taxis which can take you anywhere along the river. It's about a 30 minute walk to anything major, but there's always plenty of tuk tuks that can take you if you don't want to walk. There's a 7-eleven just around the corner if you need anything. We used the hotel's recommended tour of the waterfalls and railways, which was easy to book at reception and gave us everything we needed. Would be happy to stay here again some day.

Very good restaurant - romantic place besides the river, incredibly fast service, baby chair, good price and quality ratio. Friendly staff. Cosy rooms. Great location. Quiet and family friendly.

Best place we stayed in Thailand. The staff are amazing, the resort is beautiful. The family rooms are well thought out with single beds for the children. The place was spotless. There are 2 swimming pools, both get quite a bit of shade. The river down the middle has fish the kids could feed. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant food was also amazing, some of the best we had. We were there for new year and they put on a lovely evening with dancers and fire works, done really well, tasteful and not over the top. They arrange tours, taxis and boats which also made it so easy and it’s a short walk to the train station and also to other nearby restaurants.

Great location on River Kwai Road - lots of bars and eateries nearby - if you're vegan it's a 5 minute walk on road to On's Vegan Restaurant where we went 3 out of our 4 nights. The hotel has a restaurant which gets full - but as we had the Thai vegan place on the road we didn't partake. We did have breakfast which had lots of choice; salad, fresh fruit, breads, cereals, juices, coffee, tea etc. For those that eat it there were also eggs, various noodles and fried rice options, mini muffins, small coconut pancakes etc. 2 fantastic pools. We stayed in the room with it's own veranda directly onto the River Kwai and it was fab - comfy, Aircon worked great, water supplied, cleaned daily.
